Strudgeon, Lorraine A. Freeland, MI Lorraine (McKellar) Strudgeon, beloved mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, & sister passed away at Covenant Hospital on April 8, 2015. She was predeceased by her father Arthur Serrano. She is survived by her mother, Lorraine Claus of Freeland MI; husband, Asa Strudgeon of Freeland MI; 5 children, Raymond (Steffan) McKellar of Corpus Christi TX, Steven McKellar of Hemlock MI, Michael McKellar of Freeland MI, Laura (Matthew) Hall of Saginaw MI, Lynda McKellar of Freeland MI; step-children, Amanda (Justin) Gross of Dexter MI, Sarah Strudgeon of Mt. Pleasant MI; sisters, Barbra Rieffel of Chicago IL, Rita Polak of Bay City MI; brothers, William Rieffel of Bay City MI and Mark Rieffel of Frankenmuth MI; 4 grandchildren, Rae-Ann Dezelah, Cheryl Hubert, Alexandria (Alex) and Dylan Hall. Lorraine was retired from General Motors/Delphi. She was an avid gardener, enjoying retirement and traveling to Texas. She was also predeceased by the most special person in her life, Sophia Ansorge of Traverse City MI. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on April 25, 2015 at Community Baptist Church, 8331 Gratiot, Shields, Michigan. The family will be present at church prior to the service from 10 AM - 11 AM to receive friends.
