Obituary of Janice Mae Hoffman

Hoffman, Janice Mae Essexville, Michigan formerly of Saline, Michigan Janice passed away Saturday April 18, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born in Saline Michigan on April 15, 1923 to the late Karl and Leola (Hanson) Theurer. She married Otis Dell Hoffman in 1944 in Saline Michigan, where he was a dentist. Janice lived most of her life in Saline until she moved to the Bay City area to be closer to family. She passed peacefully at home with her daughters at her side. She is survived by her daughters Karla Eva (Daniel) Morgan of Bay City MI and Arda Leola (Paul) Curtis of Tampa FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren Donald Curtis, Jason Curtis, Aaron Dakin. Theresa Scherwitz; and six great grandchildren, Savannah, Isaac, Eli, Sawyer, Jocelynn and Martin. Janice was a long time active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saline. Her faith was always an important part of her life. A graveside service will be held later this year at Lodi Cemetery in Saline Michigan.
