Obituary of Carl E. Klutts

Klutts, Carl E. Brant, MI Carl Klutts passed away on April 30, 2015 at age 87. He was born June 7, 1927 to Chester and Anna May Klutts at the family farm on Woodbridge road in Gratiot County. Carl is pre-deceased by his wife of 56 years Dorothy (Schultz). He is survived by their six children: Carl (Karen Hill) Klutts of Boca Raton Fl., Sharon (Jerry Stampski) Polash of Ashley MI., Beverly Rosson of Tega Cay S.C., Sheila (Steve) Witt of St. Charles MI., Patricia (John) Karklin of Beaverton MI., and Chester (Ada) Klutts of Ladson S.C. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and his sister Delores (Don) Thiele of Brant MI. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling but most of all his music. He played for many wedding receptions through-out the years, the Brant Cake Walks, and had an honorable mention in the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame Magazine. A memorial service will take place at the Brant Methodist Church on May 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Brant MI.
