He was great man. Gilbert always called me son. I really think he thought of me that way. Genie AKA Mom and I worked at the ambulance service together, what great memories we shared. He would stop out and walk though the woods trying to shoot a squirrel he loved hunting and he loved his family. I was so blessed to know him. RIP (pops).

There isn't enough space nor nearly time in a day to express how great of a man Gilbert Grinnell was. Growing up just a less than a block away from his home, and going to school with his son Scott. We all played summer ball together and Gilbert and Genie were always in attendance for our ball games. I witness a father son bond that was special and like no other between Scott and Gilbert . We had a lot of fun back in those days. Gilbert was a good kind hearted man. Always willing to help neighbors and friends. He was a straight up kind of person and he wasn't shy about putting you in your place if need be. The community of Morrice has lost a great man. My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott, Kristy, and extended family. Rest in peace,........... Gilbert !!!! You will be missed.

I remember growing up down the street from Mr Grinnell and whenever we would see each other we always called each other "hello ornery". I went to school with Kristi and we had good times back in the day.
Prayers to you all.
