Thank you for those memories and condolences. Ron is up in heaven romping in the sunshine and playing with his best buddy Buster. I've never been more proud of anyone in my life as I am of him and his fight to beat the horrible disease that invaded his mind and body. He truly is in a much better place and in the best arms/hands possible! Gods.....................

Mimi, Thank you for your kind thoughts and memories of Ron. Ron had an aneurism back on 2000 (before I knew him) and he always challenged his memory when he believed he knew someone. He would never hesitate to ask the person if they were who he thought they were. 99% of the time he was right. He was such a fighter and tried with everything he had to beat this horrible disease. I've never been more proud of anyone in my life. I know he made it to heaven and he's being very well taken care of. It brings me such peace and will help me to carry on. Your perception of Ron is spot on. He is an awesome person and lived his life with the belief of PMA, Positive Mental Attitude.

Awwww Ed and Lois! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Ron fought so hard to beat cancer and I've never been more proud of anyone than I am of him. I can't thank you enough for all your concerns, prayers, and caring that you have shown me during the past 13 months. I will be coming back to work Monday, so I'll see you on Tuesday! Can't wait to see you two. I have missed all my Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday friends! :) You two be good, see you soon.

Met Ron and his family after moving here from Chicago back in 1972. They lived behind my sister and brother - in -law ( Richard & Jackie Saunders ). We became friends with his dad Lynn and step mom Donna. Although Ron was older our kids got along well.
Jerry was actually the closest of all in age to Vince, our son.
I ran into Ron a couple times in the last couple of years and surprised he recognized me as he was a young man in his 20's the last time i had seen him. it was a pleasure to speak with him although very sorry to hear of his health issues. He turned into a very nice and pleasant person to be around and had a few good jokes to tell you too.
Vickie, I'm so sorry for your loss of Ron to you and your family. My prayers that God will comfort you and the kids in the months ahead. Take care and God Bless you all.

Thank you for your condolences. Ron wanted to live more than anything. His belief of PMA, positive mental attitude, is what gave him 5 months longer to live than what the doctors gave him. Take his comment about looking like a wrinkled dog as a compliment. He adored his buddy's buster and ozzie. Right now he's in heaven romping in fields of flowers with buster and telling anyone who will listen his jokes. I will miss him and love him until he and I meet again.

Vicki I am so sorry for your loss. I think Ron is the only one that has compared me to a wrinkle dog. Will never forget his love of life. Lorraine Gable

Ron fought the good fight and lived life to the fullest...he was always such a jokester and made people laugh telling his jokes. His dad was my grandpa's half brother and I remember going to their house when I was really young...so sad that he lost both his mom and dad when he was still very young...and then shortly after losing his dad, he lost his baby brother Jerry. I wasn't very close to him and after he lost his dad, the boys kind of scattered and the family didn't see them much after that. I happened to run into him a few times in the last few years but the last time I ran into him was just this past May and although he was consumed with cancer at that time, you would have never known it. He was still up to telling his jokes and just plain happy even in the midst of his horrific and painful battle with cancer. My heart and prayers go out to the family and rest be assured...he is now in a much better place. Amen.

:) yes he is! I know he's smiling down on those that were there for him. He was so looking forward to seeing buster and getting to heaven so he could look down on me. I know he's up there being the social butterfly that he was here on earth. Thank you for remembering Ron as the great man he was. I will forever miss him and love him. My life will never be the same.

Ron and I went to high school together and re-connected at school reunions! I loved his sense of humor and the practical jokes! I am sad, but so happy he is not suffering anymore! I love the saying "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened". Ron lived life as a happy person and so I believe this saying holds true to him! Godspeed on your healing to his family!
