Obituary of Edward Thomas Older

Older, Edward Thomas Hale, Michigan Edward passed away July 11, 2015 at the age of 87 years. He was born November 28, 1927 in Hazel Park Michigan to the late Roland and Kathleen (Holden) Older and lived in Hale Michigan, served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S.Coast Guard during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked at the US Army Tank Automotive Command in Warren, MI. (also known as Detroit Tank Arsenal) for 37 years. He married Patricia Prentiss on June 4 1955 and had wonderful 60 years of marriage. He was a man of many talents. He enjoyed spending time with family, working around the home, feeding his deer, playing on the internet and reading books. Surviving are his wife Patricia; four sons, Thomas Older ( Marsha) of Lakeside, CA, Leslie Older of Houghton Lake, MI, Douglas Older of West Branch, MI, Daniel (Joan) Older of Rose City, MI. A Memorial Service will be held on July 28, 2015 at11:30 A.M. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442 In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to ALS.org.
