So very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I first met Bob while he was still working with UPS and he would deliver packages to the insurance agency I worked for. Later on he left UPS and came to work with us at the Lawrence Ins Agency back in the 70's. Bob was a great guy to work with and always treated me like his little sister. We have lost touch over the years but have very fond memories of the years we worked together. My heartfelt sympathies to all his family,I pray God's comfort over you all. Sincerely, Marilyn Lockwood

I first met Bob when we moved here and needed insurance. He was always concerned with our needs and served us with the appropriate policies. Then years later we were the cleaning service that Bob hired to help with his household chores. I always enjoyed visiting with him while we dusted and such. He was always a gentleman and appreciated our help. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Pat Gregor

It's hard for me to write this because Bob was an exceptional person and he passed away was too soon.
I first met Bob sometime in the '70's when he left UPS to join the Lawrence Agency in Caro. I worked for an insurance company - The St. Paul, as their marketing rep. in that area. I knew right away that Bob was a natural salesman and more importantly, a person that cared about his customers and was anxious (and eager) to learn more about insurance. As time went on, Bob was given an opportunity to advance and own/operate his own insurance agency. He continued to treat his customers with dignity and respect, and we continued to be friends - I moved on from the insurance company to ownership in an agency in Saginaw.*
I wish I'd called and/or seen Bob more often over the years after he opened his own agency and then, after he retired or got out of the insurance business.
I want his family to know one thing in closing and that is that Bob was someone you could talk to .. someone you could trust .. and someone any son or grandson should try to be like.
Robert Miller
*I still am in the insurance business. I have owned/operated my own agency in Saginaw since the mid-2000's. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk about Bob some more.
