Obituary of Robert L. Thick

Thick, Robert L. Sr. Bay Port, Michigan Robert L. Thick Sr., age 68 of Bay Port born on March 14, 1947 passed away Thursday August 6, 2015. He was the son of the late Robert and Annabelle (Mattice) Thick. He married Jean Brant on December 18, 1968 they were married 47 years. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968. He earned his living as a fabricator. He loved his Sunday Nascar races, and was an avid hunter and loved putting together jigsaw puzzles. He is survived by his wife Jean Thick of Bay Port, his children Kim (Darrin) Edler of Afton, Robert L. Thick Jr. of Attica, and Nichole (Derrick) Young of Attica. He had 8 grandchildren; Megan, Elizabeth, Seth, Emily, Vinnie, Sydnee and Mason, 2 great grandchildren; Tucker, Oliver and a 3rd one on the way, his sister Pam (Edward) Hodges of Atlanta, GA, brother in law Robert (Linda) Brant of Oakland Township. Many nieces and nephews and cousins also survive. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Community of Christ Church in Bay Port. A luncheon will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Davita Dialysis center in Bad Axe, Michigan would be greatly appreciated.
