Obituary of Ernest W. Engelhardt

Engelhardt, Ernest W. Bridgeport, Michigan Mr. Engelhardt, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday October 16, 2015 with his wife by his side. Ernie was born on April 15, 1940 to the late George and Vera Engelhardt. He spent most of his life working in sales and most recently employed by Helm Electric of Frankenmuth. Ernie was a great outdoors man hunting and fishing most of his life. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin and camping at Alcona County Park. He also served in the United States Army and was a lifelong member of the Bridgeport Gun Club. Surviving besides his wife MaryJo, are daughter Kristyn (Rick) Geiser, son Keith (Patti) Engelhardt, his beloved grandchildren; Brandon and Abbey. Also surviving are his sister JoAnn (Ty) Smith, sister in law Judy Walters and brother and sister in law Gary & Sally Schafsnitz, many cousins, nieces , nephews, aunts and uncles. A special thank you to daughter in law Patti and friend Ron Kinne for their love and support during this difficult time. Honoring Ernest's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service with a luncheon following, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Bridgeport Gun Club, 3265 Roselle Dr., Saginaw MI.
