Obituary of Sheron Rose Dover Baldwin

Sheron Rose Dover Baldwin Gladwin, MI Sheron passed away early Monday October 26, 2015 after a lengthy struggle with heart trouble. There will be no showing or services. Sheron was born in Monroe, Michigan on May 5, 1944 to Elizabeth Jane Streicher and Thomas Edwin Dover. As a child she was closest to her Aunt Jane and Grandma and Grandpa Dover. Sheron married John Louis Baldwin Sr. on May the 19th 1962. Sheron was a school bus driver for Monroe Public Schools for many years. She had a passion for spoiling her grandchildren and playing family games. She was an avid watcher of Christmas movies, a chef, a magician, a deer processor, a story-teller, a drag racer, and a gardener. Sheron loved the holidays and preparing for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. She loved playing shuffleboard at Elbow Lake Bar with her family and being outside sitting by the bonfire and watching her loved ones play croquet while the grandchildren play in the sandbox or swim around in the trout stream. She and her husband John enjoyed spending their days caring for each other, driving around discovering new paths, picking berries and apples on the side of the road, and watching out for deer and bear. Sheron especially enjoyed spending time with her sons cooking breakfast, singing Patsy Cline songs, and watching the fireworks and demolition derby on the fourth of July. Sheron passes on to her loved ones her recipes, the ability to always speak their mind, and her everlasting love. Sheron was loved and cherished by many. She will be greatly missed. Sheron was the treasured mother of John, Jody (Deonna), and Jamie (Rhonda) Baldwin. Sheron was blessed with 7 wonderful grandchildren; David (Holly), P.J., Ricky, Catie (Derrick), Jody Lynn (Eric), Eileen, and Tayler. She was equally blessed with 6 great-grandsons and 5 great-granddaughters. Sheron was the beloved wife of John L. Baldwin for 53 years. Sheron is survived by three brothers; Tom (Nancy) Dover, Billy (Barb) Dover, and David Dover along with numerous nieces and nephews and "adopted sons" David Lloyd and Harry Waltz.
