Obituary of Olive Virginia Engel

Engel, Olive Saginaw, Michigan Olive Engel, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend passed away on November 8, 2015 at the age of 97. Olive was born on June 11, 1918 in St. Louis, MO. She met and married Edward C. Engel on Feb. 27, 1943 in MO. They later moved to Saginaw, Michigan where they lived and raised two sons. Olive was predeceased by her husband Edward, her sister Juanita Green, and brothers Carlton and Clifton Jones. Surviving are her two sons and their wives, Thomas E. and Patt Engel and Daniel C. and Lynn Engel. Five grandchildren and their spouses; Thomi (David) Thompson, Kristi Engel, Holli (Michael) McNicholl, Justin (Lindsey) Engel, and Amanda (Tom) Mead. Also surviving are 11 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Olive was a long time member of the Saginaw North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed speaking to others about her faith. We would also like to thank the people at Hospice Advantage for their loving care of both Olive and the family. A memorial service will be held on November 21, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 6024 Shattuck Rd., Saginaw, Michigan.
