*Correction--I actually dated Jerry 'after' high school, not in 11th grade. I realized this error in my prior sympathy post.

Jerry, you will be missed very much by all of us! I remember the fun we had when we were at your daughter, Madison's birthday party and you were cooking the hot dogs and we started calling you the "Hot Dog King". From that day forward, every birthday party, you were always called our "Hot Dog King". It meant the world to us to know how much your loved our, granddaughter, Madison and what an awesome father you were to her. I always remember your famous saying "I tell it like it is". We love you very much and you will be always be with us. Love, Mom and Gordon (Tampa, FL)

Dear Betty,
I was so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. I was his girlfriend for a few months in 11th grade and you probably don't remember me, but I lived in Saginaw back then and Jerry was living in Flint at the time with you and his brother. This is how I remember Jerry. :) Sincere condolences during this very, very difficult time in your life.

I haven't seen a picture of Jerry in forever. I am so sorry. I went to school with Jerry at St. Mary's Cathedral. Jerry and Jerry Garrison grew up in the neighborhood and use to come over to visit all the time. I remember Jerry having a great sense of humor. Those two were always together. I can't exactly remember where those two lived, but I lived on Sheridan Pl. My name is Mary Miller. Married name Bator now. Crazy we just visited John's Pass two years ago in Florida. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
