Obituary of Patricia "Pat" J. Henze

Henze, Patricia J. Farwell, MI Patricia (Pat) June (Woodward) Henze, 89, of Farwell, (formally of Redford Twp.), passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home while under Hospice care. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 2, 1926 to the late Martin and Ruth (Barrett) Woodward. In 1947, Patricia was united in marriage to Arthur Fredrick Henze Jr. Together they raised one son, Craig Arthur Henze. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in April of 2012 and her son Craig in October of 2013. Pat is survived by her Daughter in Law, Patricia (Patti) Yvonne (Ashley) Henze, 4 grandchildren and their spouses; Blair Kurtis (Denielle) Henze, Barrett Reed (Sandra) Henze Sr., Ashlee Morgan (David) Horvath, and Kyle Brooks (Raelynn) Henze. She is also survived by 9 precious Great Grandchildren; Kayla, Jade, Jakob, Hunter, Wyatt, Brianna, Taylinn, Emjay, and Barrett Jr. and her Sister in law, Shirley Alexander. Pat was the last of 13 children born to Ruth and Martin Woodward and leaves behind a large number of Nieces and Nephews. She was always available to help out her extended family no matter what was needed. Pat was the glue that held her immediate family together. She gave of herself freely and never backed away from a challenge. Pat was a member of the Clare Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. prior to her Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8973 S. Grant Avenue at E. Surrey Rd., Clare, Michigan 48617. There will be a luncheon immediately following at the Grant Township Hall located across the street.
