Kiyoko (Aramaki) Bradford passed away at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on January 19, 2016. Kiyoko "Kay" was born on February 25, 1934 in Fukuoka-ken, Japan, and was the first born of 6 children to the late Kiyoshi and Tokiyo (Tateyama) Aramaki. Her siblings include sisters Takako Aramaki Aoki and Miyoko Aramaki and brothers Kenji Aramaki, Mitsuo Aramaki and Kiyoharu Aramaki of Japan.
Kiyoko married John Harold Bradford on June 11, 1958 at the American Consulate in Fukuoka, Japan. Kay was a devoted and loving wife and mother that followed her Navy sailor husband to many places including Sasebo, Japan, California and Georgia then moving to Bay City, Michigan when John retired from the Navy.
Throughout her life Kiyoko enjoyed many things such as fishing, bowling, ceramics, yard sales, gardening, traveling with John, country music, bingo and her grandchildren.
Surviving are daughter Karen Bradford Taylor of Midland, Michigan and sons Jeffery T. Bradford of Allen, Texas and Scott F. Bradford of Arlington, Virginia; grandchildren Ashley Taylor (Andrew) Salter, Kelsey Taylor (Derick) Woodcock, Erica Taylor, Elizabeth and John Bradford and Naomi and Lydia Bradford; great grandchildren Kaiya Salter and Liam Quider.
