Obituary of Margaret E. Hildebrant

Hildebrant, Margaret E. Tawas City Margaret, age 84, passed away peacefully January 31, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born July 12,1931 in Flint, MI to the late Earl and Margaret Montney, and spent the majority of her life living in South Branch, MI. Margaret's passion in life was cooking and baking and will be remembered for her homemade bread and sticky buns and never allowing anyone to walk away hungry. She spent her life as a homemaker and took pride in raising her children. Surviving are her children, Ronnie (Leslie) Hildebrant of South Branch, MI, Walter Hildebrant of South Branch, MI, Patricia (Walter) Zych of Oscoda, MI, Rhonda (Arthur) Riley of Tawas, MI and Pamela Hildebrant of Whittemore, MI.; two very special grandchildren, Nicole (Keith) Killen of Selma, NC and Brian Thayer of Whittemore, MI that she loved and deeply cherished; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many friends; and her loving sisters, Christine Peck of South Branch, MI and Mary-Alice (Maurice) Jackson of Rockford, MI. Margaret was preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister, and 2 grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
