Obituary of Erma Jean Thomas

Thomas, Erma Jean Saginaw, MI On Saturday, February 13, 2016, Our beloved Erma Jean Thomas went home to be with the Lord. Erma was born on July 3, 1958 to Robert & Rosalie Knorr in Alma, Mi. Erma had a zest for life. She was a Foster mother for many years. Erma loved crocheting, trying new recipes and most of all spending time with family and friends. Her beautiful sprit will be missed by all who loved her. On December 21, 2011 she married her devoted and loving husband Wesley Thomas, he survives her. Erma leaves her mother Rosalie Hansen of Farwell, MI; four sons, Eldon Bovee Jr. of Midland, MI, Joseph Bovee of West Virginia, Wesley Nash and Tyrone Burns and one daughter, Brandy Nash all of Saginaw, MI; two sisters, Karrol (Mark) Cowdry, Gayla Pickins; one brother, Paul Knorr Sr.; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and god children; four sisters in law; four brothers in law; and god mother Betty Walker. The family would like to thank the angels from Hospice Advantage, her caregivers, Joyce Reeves, Brandy Nash, Alberta Palmer and Sylvia Bryant. Erma was predeceased by her father Robert Knorr, father and mother in law Rufus & Marie Thomas, one nephew Jason, stepfather Ralph Crawford. Per Erma's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial celebrating the life we had with Erma will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Transforming Life Ministries, 3024 South Washington Ave, Saginaw, MI 48601.
