I only had the pleasure of meeting Peggy twice. She was so sweet. I was looking for a home for Ginger the Aussie. Peggy enjoyed Ginger upon meeting her... and when I got home that day, Judy said that her Mom wanted to take Ginger. I understand that Ginger and Peggy became fast friends. I am honored to have known Peggy briefly and glad that Ginger brought her happiness. My deepest sympathy to Judy and the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these days.

So very grateful to Becky for trying so long to find her Gram's Scottish family and succeeding in finding me. It was wonderful to be able to get to know Margaret through 'phone calls to her and Judy's lovely e-mail messages. Thinking of you all and know your treasured memories will be a great comfort.
In loving memory of a very special "daughter of Scotland".
From Susan in Aboyne, Scotland.

I met Peggy way back when I was first getting involved in rescue - when rescue was mainly one heartbreak after the next - when it took a special determined persistence to stick with the mission - and Peggy definitely had that determination and persistence - a wonderful, caring lady who gave it her all - Peggy, please watch over and help all who continue to carry on with the life mission that was so important to you

On behalf of Jed, a large, blind, yellow lab who came to APB from Tuscola HS and hundreds of other almost forgotten souls, we will long remember Peggy and Judy as caring, giving life-savers who helped scores of animals avoid crossing the Bridge prematurely. Jed was adopted out of his very first 'meet and greet' he attended in Lansing and went on to live out his days on a farm, loved by his own 2 very special little girls whom he lived to meet thanks to Judy and Peggy. What a wondrous reunion must be going on at The Bridge these recent days.

I worked with Peggy for many years at HDC and she wasn't just a co-worker she became a friend. We shared so many laughs and had some after work fun also. We loved to sing and laugh. I have fond memories of times spent with Peg, Judy, KayLynn at some local festivals. She was so caring of all God's creatures she loved all animals. I can still see her hugging a goat at the Pet Expo. She saved so many animal lives. She loved her family and was so proud of them all. Her best friend Judy was so good to her and I admire her for all the special care she gave Peggy these past few years. You have my deepest sympathy all of you who love Peggy and will miss her.

I am blessed to have had this amazing woman as my Grandmother, and to have a lifetime of memories with her.
I have always looked up to her, and even as a child I would sit and watch her do her nails, hair, and makeup - thinking how beautiful she was.
She was so wise, and taught me so much, and helped me through some difficult times.
Most of all, her love for me was unconditional. I will miss her beyond measure.
I will always love you my Gram.

So sorry to hear of your loss Kay Lynn, I was thinking of her just before Christmas, I think I was talking to Carol and she told me your Mom was sick. Pray she didn't suffer a lot and now she's in a better place pain free. Prayers for you and your family.
We remember the times together with you'se and your children and always remember how our Cheryl and your Chris looked like two peas in a pod and heaven help their teachers. How they got thru school with no problems is a big question haha.
Remember all the great memories with your Mom.
Love & Laughter Always

Just loved hearing Peggy and Kay Lyn doing impromptu singing!! Many happy hours sitting at the dining room table laughing and chatting. Both Peggy and Judy helped me so much when I dealt with the loss of my daughter. I felt loved and protected and will be forever grateful to have spent time with them in August.
