Obituary of Shawn M. Krenz

Krenz, Shawn Saginaw, Michigan Shawn Michael Krenz 44 years old, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Shawn was born on May 22, 1971 to Kenneth Michael Krenz and Connie Lee (Balcom) Brown. Still cherishing his memory are step-father Stephen Wayne Brown, Holly Gorthy who married Shawn on March 22, 1997 and to that union they have three children, Jacob, Jalen, and Allison Krenz. He also leaves a daughter, Hannah Castillo and a loving friend Jeanette Castillo. A sister, Shannon Mae (Krenz) King (David Yerks) and a brother Stephen Alton (Jamie) Brown of Florida and Uncle David Edward Balcom of Grand Rapids. Shawn also leaves nieces and nephews, Gracee & Preston King, Gwen & Luke Brown, Holley & Randi Rochefort, Anna & Aaron Slavin and many cousins. Shawn attended grade school at Holy Cross Lutheran School and graduated from Valley Lutheran High School. He loved machinery and became a certified Brunswick mechanic for 20 years working at several bowling alleys. He was a talented artist, loved sports of all types and played basketball once a week. He was very proud of his children and loved them very much. Shawn's wish for cremation has been honored. A Memorial Service will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 Court Street, on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Friends are welcome to visit with family from 9 – 11:00 am with the Service beginning at 11-12:00 pm.
