Obituary of Alice Lorraine Strait (Smith)

Strait, Alice Loraine (Smith) Midland, MI Alice Strait, age 87 of Midland, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016. Alice was born February 27, 1929 to the late John and Hazel Smith. She married the late Leo E. Strait on August 11, 1945. Over life she loved water skiing, bowling, line dancing, going to the casino, and working in her yard. She always liked being with her family. Surviving are her three children: Bonnie (James) Bober of Valrico, Florida; Clayton (Marcia) Strait of Saginaw, Michigan; Pamela Strait of Midland (her room mate and friend); four grandchildren: James (Pamela) Bober, Edward (Joanne) Bober, Benjamin (Laura) Strait, Bethany (Marc) Shira; eight great- grandchildren: Anthony, Jennifer, Emily, Amanda, Laura, Abigail, Meagan, and Kaitlynn. A Memorial Service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Christian Celebration Center, 6100 Swede Road Midland, Michigan.
