Sorry to hear this news. Thirty years ago, Bob (Mr. LeRoy to me) was my baseball coach for 2 seasons. While some coaches may have screamed and yelled, I don't think I ever heard him raise his voice in anger. He wanted us to play and behave the right way and he led by example. I'm sure all of my teammates on those CMW teams would agree that we all looked up to him and appreciated all of his time and energy spent on us. My condolences to all.

Had the great pleasure of knowing Bob through the North Little League. He was a very pleasant man and always helpful in providing me with Little League information that I needed for the local newspaper I worked for way-back-then. Thoughts and prayers to Bob's family.

SORRY TO SEE BOB PASSED AWAY. WE KNEW HIM THROUGH NSTLL, AND HAD A LOT OF TIME WITH HIM AT THE PARK. I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER BOB SAYING," I MIGHT NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME,BUT I REMEMBER THE WAY HE HOLDS A BAT". THE DRAFT MEETINGS FOR THE MAJORS WAS NOT FOR THE WEAK OF HEART.
