Obituary of Judith A. Mausolf

Mausolf, Judith A. Harbor Beach, MI Judith Mausolf, age 73, died May 24, 2016 after battling cancer for 5 years. Judy was born in 1942 in Bad Axe, the daughter of Anthony and Anna Klakulak. She was the 6th child of a family of 8 children. After graduation from Sts. Peter & Paul High School in Ruth, Michigan, she married Michael Mausolf of Harbor Beach in 1960. Her years of being a wife and mother to two sons, Jess and Christopher, brought much happiness into her life. Cooking, volunteering in school and church projects and home decorating were just a few of the challenges she enjoyed. Her expertise in the business world included owning and operating a catering business for 6 years and being co-owner of Sandman's Grocery Store in Harbor Beach for 23 years. Dancing to polkas and playing cards delighted her. The dozens of pictures adorning her walls and tables were evidence of her love and pride in her family. Pictures of her 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren were among them. Her positive outlook on life and determination to live life to its fullest enabled her to travel the world extensively with her husband. Hawaii and Alaska, were included in the rest of the states visited in America; England, France, Ireland, Russia, Egypt and China were just to name a few of her other adventures. Cremation will take place. Judy will remain in the hearts and memory of all those who were touched with her beautiful smile and lively conversations. Farewell.
