Obituary of Gordon K. Boman

Boman, Gordon K. Omer, Michigan Our loving father and husband, Gordon Kenneth Boman, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 65. Son of Dolores and the late Kenneth Boman, he was born on July 31, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. Gordon had perfected the art of storytelling and was a great kidder; always trying to make people laugh until the very end. He was a hands-on guy who loved to tinker and be outside. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who meant the world to him. Gordon leaves behind his wife Shelley Boman and their three sons, Michael (special friend Emma Schafer) Boman, Matthew Boman, and Marc Boman; his mother Dolores Boman; siblings Nancy (Vic) Wise, Roxanne (Ed) Spegel, Bruce (Linda) Boman, Chris Boman, and Jill (fiancé Jim Seyuin) Boman; sisters-in-law Sharon Gardy, Kay Korthals, Diane Forbush, and Marsha Jobson; and brother-in-law Calvin Korthals. Gordon was preceded in death by sister-in-law Sally Boman and brothers-in-law Max Gardy, Fred Forbush, and John Jobson. In keeping with Gordon's wishes, no services will be held.
