Wendy Ford

Obituary of Wendy R. Ford

Wendy Renee Ford joined the world on August 30, 1979 and left it suddenly on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the age of 36. During that time Wendy earned a degree in Fine Art and, her personal favorite, Art History. Wendy's artwork won accolades and awards alike. Wendy is survived by her mother and constant cheerleader, Susan Ford; her older sister, Stephanie Ingersoll; her brother-in-law, Mike Ingersoll; and her beloved nephews, Seth Golson and Benjamin Ingersoll. She will also be missed by her constant companion and service Pug, Cole. Those who were fortunate enough to know Wendy knew she offered her family and others unwavering support in their undertakings and was quick to quiet critics. There will be a memorial service planned in the future, but Wendy will be celebrated by those who loved her every day. Wendy's hero, Frida Kahlo, once said, "Nothing is worth more than laughter. It is strength to laugh and to abandon oneself, to be light. Tragedy is the most ridiculous thing." Let this time reflect that ideal. Because Wendy had such eclectic tastes, memorials should be directed to the wishes of the family. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan, 1-888-273-3553.
