Uncle Bob and Family,
I was truly saddened today to hear of the passing of Aunt Shirley on the 22nd. We are left with many great memories, of which are some of my favorite childhood memories at the lake with all of the family enjoying the gatherings. One of my favorite was learning to play horse shoes. There was just something special about that pit that brought us together for the special bond.
Miss and love you all,
Tom Tower

I'm heartbroken to hear of the passing of my online 'chicken friend'. Although we never met in person, Shirley was someone that I truly considered a close friend. She was always there for me to help me through. Rest peacefully my dear friend

Mrs. Co.ok, That's what us Sammons's kids always called you, we were taught always respect your Elders. It was difficult to see your beautiful name appear for all to see. Tears are running down my face but I must comment...Mrs. Cook I will fondly remember you, as I was a child growing up, when we'd stop by after Church on Sundays and get to help green beans or peas from your beautiful Garden.
And all the weekends we camped in your back yard at the "Cabin" and us kids played with your 3 kids, always great Memories I will cherish my entire life time. My Condolences to Mr. Cook and the Family.....Love you always Rita Christian
