Obituary of Donna Jean Chinery

Chinery, Donna Jean Saginaw, Michigan Donna Jean,age 83, passed away on July 8, 2016. She was born on Nov. 1, 1932, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Harold Denno and Mary (Lundy) Denno Tomczak, and a stepfather Edmund Tomczak. She was an active member of Community of Christ Church her whole life, sharing her gifts with congregations at Jefferson Ave., King Road and Center Road, respectively. She loved music, church and family gatherings, and especially loved being a mom, a grandma and a great grandma. Sixty-five years ago she married Jack Edward Chinery on June 2, 1951. Donna is survived by her husband, Jack, Grant B. Chinery and Linda E. (Hoffman) Chinery, their son and daughter-in-law, Renee M. Congleton and John C. Congleton, their daughter and son-in-law, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by three sisters. She requested that no memorial service be held.
