Obituary of Leo J. LaPlaunt

LaPlaunt, Leo J. III Bay City, Michigan Mr. LaPlaunt, age 55, died on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Leo was born in Oscoda, Michigan on October 26, 1960 to the late Leo J. and Grace (Colbath) LaPlaunt. Leo was active at North Bay Activity Center and loved bowling and fishing and being with people. Mr. LaPlaunt is survived by his 2 sisters and a brother; Sandra (Bill Thorson) Harrington of Bay City, Mary Miller of Bay City and David LaPlaunt of Bay City. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy LaPlaunt and brother Randy LaPlaunt. A life celebration will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday September 16, 2016 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.
