Obituary of Margaret S. Sheedy

Sheedy. Margaret S. Lapeer, Michigan Margaret Sunday Sheedy went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Septemter 15, 2016. She is survived by her children: Amy Roche, Kathy (Greg) Hammond, Eric Roche and Kelly Sunday. Margaret was born on June 13, 1935 in Detroit, MI. She was the first of six children for John E and Ava G McNally. She attended Annunciation School for 13 years and Mary Grove College for one year before marrying. Moving to Brighton and began raising her family and starting her career at a local department store. When her children were in school fulltime, she began the bookkeeper position at Brighton High School. "Just give me the money" she would say. Learning to use a computer during that time. After 21 years, she retired. They moved to Sugar Springs in Gladwin. By now, she had grandchildren. The loves of her life. Followed by great grandchildren. Bob Sunday passed in 1994 of cancer. She married Ted Sheedy in 1996 to 2011. They were very active in the community. She was Ted's caregiver until he passed from a battle with emphysema. Margaret was always faithful to the Catholic Church. She and Ted would often deliver holy communion to the home bound and the local retirement home. They also delivered meals. She and Ted liked to pay for patrons meals at a restaurant, just because it made them happy. Loving sisters, Dianne, Janet, brother Danny (Toni), grandchildren, Christopher.(Kristy), Sean (Brenda), Heather (Wes), Matthew (Meghan), Jeremy (Jennifer). Six great children and several nieces and nephews, and devoted friends will greatly miss her. Service is 11 AM, October 8, 2016. Lunch in church hall to follow.
