Beloved husband, father, stepfather and grandfather passed away Saturday October 8, 2016 at James E. Cartwright Care Center Hospice in Saginaw, MI. Bob was born on June 9, 1924 in Port Huron to the late Dr. James and Ruth Mac Vicar.
Bob graduated from St. John's Military Academy in Wisconsin and proudly served in the United States Army during World War ll. Bob loved antiques and could always make you smile with his wit and humor. He was also known for his kind heart and gentle demeanor.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kay); his daughter, Bonnie Deladurantaye; stepchildren, Mark Kalkman, Pat (John) Armstrong, Tracy Fruge; grandchildren, Shawn (Ashley) Kabobel, Joseph (Kelsi) Deladurantaye, Samantha Deladurantaye, Paul, Anthony ( Jessica) and Alyse Schrems, Jared Friske, Will and Michael Armstrong, Gavin and Reis Fruge. He was predeased by his first wife Nancy (Gillow) and stepdaughter, Lori Schrems.
The family would like to thank Dr. Minoo Khetarpal for her extraordinary care through the years and the staff at James E. Cartwright Care Center Hospice in Saginaw for their kindness and compassion during a difficult time. In keeping with Bob's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services.
