Obituary of Dolores M. (Bauer) Berg

Berg, Dolores M. (Bauer) Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, following a courageous battle with cancer. Age 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Orrin and Theresa (Kast) Bauer, was born September 8, 1935 in Saginaw along with her twin sister Doris. Dolores was a member of St. John Vianney Parish in Saginaw. She also enjoyed playing cards and shopping with her daughter. Most important of all was the time spent with her family and the grandchildren who were the loves of her life. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Mark D. and Victoria Berg of Saginaw, Brian J. and Diane Berg of Freeland, Kimberly M. Berg of Zilwaukee and Paul R. and Cindy Berg of Freeland; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Aubree, Kendon, Nicholas, Adam, and Kenadee; a sister, Doris (Henry) Strunk of Jackson; a brother, Jon (Joanne) Bauer of Lansing; several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Berg in 1994, a daughter, Suzy, and two brothers, Rev. Joseph O. Bauer and Gale R. Bauer. Honoring Dolores's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Saginaw MI. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate.
