Obituary of Carol Ann Warner

Warner, Carol Ann Midland, Michigan Warner, Carol Ann (Smith) of Midland Michigan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was 83. The daughter of the late Sadonna (Overy) and Gilbert Donald Smith, Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 5, 1933. She married Paul M Warner on April 4, 1953 in Findlay, Ohio. Surviving besides her husband Paul are two daughters and two sons and their spouses and significant others; Amy and Christopher Potts, Rives Junction, MI; Betsy and David Wietfeldt, Merrill, MI; Thad Warner and Dee Stajdl, Midland, MI; Joel Warner and Ashley McIntosh, Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren Christopher and Alicia Wietfeldt, Midland, MI; Brandon Wietfeldt and Jenna Diener, Freeland, MI; Lindsey and Nicholas Grillo, Freeland, MI; Jarrad and Ashley Warner, Midland, MI; Sadonna Stong, Saginaw, MI; Great-grandchildren; Isaac Wietfeldt; and Aaliyah and Ella Warner; sister, Debra Walbridge, Denver, CO; sisters-in-law Lynn Warner, Midland, MI; Rose Warner, Findlay, OH; Jane Humphrey, Rockville MD; nieces Laura (David) Brown, Tallahassee, FL; Cindy (Sky) Kirvan, Findlay OH; LeeAnne Sulzberger, Rockville MD; Alecia McCommons, Denver, CO nephews Hugh (Marcia) Yeager, Clearwater, FL; Mark (Nancy) Yeager, Holiday, FL; Jeff (Liz) Warner, Findlay, OH; Todd (Alison) Humphrey, Fredrick, MD; Jason Warner, Findlay, OH; Brett McCommons, Shakopee, MN. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce (Smith) Yeager. Carol's family would like to thank the Second Friday Zinc Girls for their shared confidences and the joy they brought our Mother; Dr. Lorenzo Berlanga and Dr. Michael Hurtubise for fighting this fight with us, and for their honest, compassionate care; Heartland Hospice Care for their help in Carol's final hours and Dee Stajdl for all her help and her loving care of Mom. Following Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place by the Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan, Bay City, MI. A private service has been held.
