Obituary of Daniel L. Houthoofd

Houthoofd, Daniel L. Pinconning, Michigan Mr. Houthoofd, age 63, died on Wednesday November 30, 2016. Daniel was born in Pigeon, Michigan on March 13, 1953 to the late Morris and Ida (Spencer) Houthoofd. Daniel worked for Sebewaing Industries as a press operator. He enjoyed woodworking and was very proud of his pilot's license and loved flying. Dan was a very caring and selfless man and always looked out for others. Mr. Houthoofd is survived by his life partner Debbie Jo of Pinconning. Also surviving are his 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Andy (Kathleen) Houthoofd of Saginaw, Morris Jr. (Tessie) Houthoofd of the Philippines, Mary Lou Patterson of Indiana and Trudy (John) Katnik of Unionville, many nieces and nephews, and his special furry companion Libby. He was preceded in death by his two other special furry companions Wrinkles and Jasper. A life celebration will be planned later.
