Obituary of Betty June Mangutz

Betty June Beach Mangutz passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 surrounded by her children at her side in her home of many many years. She was 88 years old. She was born June 10, 1928 in Manistique, MI the daughter of the late Harzen and Marie (Petersen) Beach. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She took care of her family and household and worked as an insurance agent for years. Betty was extremely active in her community throughout her lifetime. She was a member of many clubs and organizations. She was a thoughtful, caring and a loving woman who will be deeply missed by all whose lives she's touched. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, formerly St. Anthony's. Betty was married to Michael J. Mangutz on August 23, 1947. He predeceased her on February 16, 1996. She is survived by her children, four daughters and two sons; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her children are as follows: Michele (Mickie) and Charles Gentry, Steve and Cindy Mangutz, BethAnne And Randy Reinig, Michael and Marilyn Mangutz, Barbara (Mangutz) and Charles Catlett, and Melissa (Mangutz) and Rocky Fielbrandt. Betty is also survived by her brother Paul Beach and his wife Toppy, many relatives and friends; lifelong and new. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 AM Tuesday May 9, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 3680 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends and family may call at the Parish on Monday, May 8th from 5-8 PM. Prayer service at 7:30 PM and Tuesday, May 9th 9-11 AM. Mass following visitation.
