Obituary of Elizabeth M. Bresser

Bresser, Elizabeth Marie Saginaw, MI Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elizabeth passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Cartwright Hospice Residence at the age of 95. Elizabeth was born on May 13, 1921 to the late Helen and Jack Meyer. She married Russell E. Bresser on March 30, 1942. She was a lifelong resident of Saginaw and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Saginaw for many years. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and spending time with her family. Surviving her are children, Larry (Mary) Bresser and Pamela (Monte) Lonsway; six grandchildren, Christian (Ben) Crump of Saginaw, Matthew (Heather) Bresser of Washington, Michael (Andrea) Bresser of Merrill, Kelly (James) Allen of Freeland, Corey (Chelsey) Lonsway and Emilie (Josh) Allen both from Midland. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren, Nicole and Joshua Crump, Jacklyn (Travis) Moulton and Zachary M. Bresser, Zachery and Laurel Bresser, Katie Allen, Cayden Lonsway, and Raegan Allen. She was predeceased by her husband Russell on May 1, 2006, her brother Howard Meyer, and her sister Shirley Larson. Per her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Cartwright Hospice Residence of Saginaw, MI.
