Obituary of Thomas J. Trapp

Trapp, Thomas J. Bay City, Michigan Thomas James Trapp, age 83, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday June 23, 2017. The son of the late Howard and Gertrude (Okon) Trapp, Thomas was born January 25, 1934 in Bay City, Michigan. He served as an elder at the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He retired after 34 years of working at Consumers Energy. Thomas will always be remembered for his good humor and love for his family. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia (Buzalski) Trapp, his children; Cathy (Dan) Mathews, Debra (Dan) Kosecki, Mark (Cheryl) Trapp and Linda Whitford. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters in law, one brother in law nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Trapp, mother Gertrude Trapp and step mother Jo Trapp, siblings, Jean, Jerry and Jack, sons in law Joe Mendoza and Rick Whitford. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tom's nurse, Joyce, for all of her care and compassion. Cremation will take place.
