Obituary of Beverly J. Becker

Mrs. Becker, age 86, died on Sunday July 2, 2017 at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Beverly June was born in Bellevue, Michigan on April 12, 1931 to the late Richard and Rose (Olds) Wight. She married Floyd Becker in Dimondale Michigan on April 27, 1951. Beverly loved cooking and baking for the family. She enjoyed bingo, and was a quilter and crafter. Mrs. Becker is survived by her husband Floyd, their 4 children; Roger (Janet) Becker of Walled Lake, Karen (Thomas) Jones of Burlington, Michigan, Diane (Steve) Reglin of Charlotte, Michigan and Bruce (Lisa) Becker of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Jason (Sara) Becker, Andrew Becker, Heather (Joe) Trusner, Thomas (Jamin) Jones, Todd Jones and Travis Reglin, 7 great granddaughters; Lauren, Emily, Evelyn, Autumn, Lillian, Willow and Madelyn, 2 sisters; Barbara Clark, Joyce (Major Gene) Anderson, brother in law Arthur Steward and sister in law Joan Wight and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Penny Becker, son Jeffrey Becker, brother Richard Wight and sister Betty Steward. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday July 6, 2017 at Vermontville Bible Church, 250 N. Main Street, Vermontville, Michigan, 49096. Major Gene Anderson and Pastor Todd Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
