Robert Kietzman passed away at the Toni and Trish House Saturday July 1, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bob lived in Bay City, MI (formerly of Freeland).
Bob worked in the boiler water treatment industry for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved boating and the outdoors. Bob was a musician, diver, golden gloves state champion, golfer, self-proclaimed chef, and gardener.
He was a true family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Aline Kietzman, brother James, sister Christine (Lon) Miller, and best friend "Bear". Survived by: wife Carol (Lee) Kietzman of 50 years, son Bob (Jodi) Kietzman, daughter Jody (Christine) Kietzman-Morrison, son Scott (Theresa) Kietzman, grandchildren Robert, Andrew, Kathryn, Evan, Samantha, Allie Kietzman, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6 from 9-11:00 with church service following at 11am at Our lady of Peace Parish (formerly St. Mary's church); 607 East South Union Street, Bay City, MI 48706. Officiated by Rev. Patrick Jankowiak, Pastor. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the wishes of the family.
