Obituary of Alton David Orange
David passed away at his home, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. David is remembered by his family for his welcoming smile, generosity, positive attitude and gratefulness for every day. He showed all who knew him what it truly meant to pay-it-forward.
He is survived by his wife, Terrie (Wardlow) Orange, of 48 years, Son Lewis (Paul Riesbeck), daughter Ellie Orange-Bieszke, Son Eben (Sally), grandchildren Baylen, Meredith, Dawson, Ethan, Lillian, Hayden, Spencer, and Isaac.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date, at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Emmaus House in Saginaw, MI or the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, MI.
