Obituary of Beverly J. Young

Young, Beverly Jean (Slater) Midland, MI Beverly, age 80, passed away Tuesday, July 4 2017. Bev was born in Midland Michigan on May 26, 1937 to the late Harold and Jessie Slater. Bev married her true love, Ervin "Curly" Young on September 10, 1960, and together they had four children. Bev enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also a mother figure to all the neighborhood children, always the person that smiled all the time and had kind words in her heart for everyone. She loved gardening, canning, and baking for all. Some of her hobbies were crocheting, writing poems, cooking, and playing cards. Surviving besides her husband Ervin, are their four children, Timothy (Winnette) Young of Standish, Dale (Tondee) Young of Breckinridge, Robert Young of Louisiana, and Becky (Randy) Stone of Wheeler; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister, Anna Beebe of Midland.
