Obituary of Frances A. Eddy
Frances "Nana" Eddy (Brandel) died suddenly at Covenant Medical Center on August 9, 2017 in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 81. Frances is survived by her daughters Kathy Jackson (Jeff), Carol Glenn (Jeff), and Julie Williams; brothers Wayne Brandel, John Brandel, Lawrence Brandel; and sister Phyllis Kueffner. She is preceded in death by her parents William J. Brandel and Frances C RaBarge; brothers Edsel Brandel, William Brandel, Richard Brandel, James Brandel; sisters Mary Little, Cecilia Novak, Patricia Manial, Jenne Stevens; and husband/life-long friend Harold Eddy. Frances was born on December 10,1935 in Saginaw, Michigan to William J Brandel and Frances C Brandel. She attended cosmetology school and worked in Atlanta, Georgia for L'Oreal. Frances and Harold were married for 25 years, after which they remained close friends. The pair enjoyed fishing and friendly competition in card games. Frances also enjoyed cooking, her church, trips to the casino, and playing Texas Hold 'em with her family. Nana had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren -- Aaron Lovato (Ashley), Justin Jackson, Katie Nagy (Andrew), Luke Williams, Sydney Glenn, Ansley Williams, Ben Williams and great-grandchildren Hayden Lovato, Jackson Nagy, and Claire Lovato. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday August 16, 2017 at 9:00am, a funeral mass at 10:00am, and a luncheon to follow, all at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N River Rd, Saginaw, Michigan with Father Pete Gaspeny officiating.
