Obituary of Pamela Anne Race

Race, Pamela Anne Bay City, MI Pamela Anne, age 70, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 14, 2017. Pam was born on August 22, 1946 to the late Alton and Esther Kellum in Wyandotte, Michigan. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Central Michigan University. Pam's greatest joy in life was being a loving mother to her children. She was an entrepreneur and started many in-home businesses, including a pet sitting business where she provided loving care to many animals. Pam will be remembered for her kind spirit, warm heart and ability to make friends wherever she went. She loved walking her pet pig Presley down by the river and talking to people. She is survived by her children Jeremy (Melody) Race, BJ (Cassandra) Race, and Megan Race and her grandchildren Flynn Race and Vivian Race. In lieu of a funeral, family and friends are invited to celebrate Pam's life at a wake, to be held Saturday, August 19 from 3-7 pm at the Willew Lounge, 3005 E. Midland Rd, Bay City. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Humane Society, in honor of Pam's love for animals. Pam was a unique spirit and will be missed by many.
