Obituary of Helen Kay Mikoloff

Miloloff, Helen Kay Caro, Michigan Helen passed away on Monday, July 10, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw at the age of 75. Helen is survived by her daughter Sharon (fiance Joel) of Richville, son Kelly of Lincoln Park, sister Kathy Freeland (husband Dan) of Mayville and brother Bill Walter of Alpena. A Memorial service was held on Friday, July 28, 2017, with internment at the Carson City Cemetery. Helen was a registered nurse who received her training at Henry Ford Hospital back in the early 1960s and her Master's Degree in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University. She achieved the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Alpena General Hospital, always caring about the nurses and patients. She was also Director of Nurses at St. John's Nursing Home in Detroit, and cared deeply for her geriatric patients and the nurses she employed, working hard to get them respect and independence.
