Obituary of Nancy Diane Lake

Nancy Diane Lake was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on June 2, 1962 and passed away peacefully on September 28, 2017 at Woodland Hospice and Morey Bereavement Center in Mount Pleasant, MI. Nancy enjoyed spending quality time with family, laughing and reminiscing with her children. She also loved to listen to music and crochet. Gift giving was one of her fondest hobbies. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Wilma and Lewis Brockman, brothers, Robert and Kenneth Brockman and son Robert Meyers. Surviving is daughter Amanda Meyers (Justin Emmons) and three grandchildren Terissa, Jerry, and Alizay, daughter Tabitha (Chad) Johnson and their children Alaina, Brian, and Aubrey, daughter Jennifer Meyers (Shane Wright) and their children Kaydince and David, son Edward (Monica) Lake and two grandchildren Edward and Benjamin, and son Frankie Lake. Also survived by siblings Susan (Bill) Dillenbeck, Michael, Timothy, James (Angie), Larry (Linda) Brockman. Nancy also has many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a few dear friends that were very special to her. She is cherished and loved by everyone she meets and will be deeply missed by all. Services for Nancy will be held on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 3p.m. at the Community Baptist Church of Alma located at 270 Purdy Dr., Alma, MI. All are welcome to join us afterwards for a luncheon located within the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church of Alma.
