Obituary of Charles Stephen Caylor

Caylor, Charles Stephen Midland, MI Charles passed away on October 2, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Saginaw after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Known as either Chuck or Charlie, he was born on December 16, 1950 in Owosso and had lived in a variety of cities in Michigan, Florida and Tennessee. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. He worked for a number of companies in Michigan, Florida and Tennessee, and he owned a small business in Tennessee before becoming ill. He will always be remembered for his gentle nature, his wonderful sense of humor, and his warm and caring personality. He is survived by his mother, Doris Caylor of Midland; sister, Sandra (Steve) Wuobio of Zilwaukee; two brothers, Tom Caylor of Bay City and Bob (Marsha) Caylor of Hemlock; seven nieces and nephews - Emily Caylor of Bay City; Bobby Caylor of Saginaw; Ben Caylor of Ferndale; Heather Wuobio of Denver, CO; Sarah (Joshua) Trantham of Freeland; Patrick Caylor of Hemlock; and Amy (James) Brittin of Farmington Hills; and two great-nieces, Brooklyn and Charlotte Trantham of Freeland. A great-nephew is due at the end of this year. He was predeceased by his father, Herbert Caylor, and his brother, David Caylor. Memorials can be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
