Obituary of William S. Klein

Klein, William 06/16/1948-10/17/2017 Burt, MI William S Klein (Bill), 69 of Burt, MI passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family. Bill briefly battled cancer; he was diagnosed just 13 days before his death. Bill married his wife Carol on October 1, 1966. He served in Vietnam in the 101st Airborne. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operating engineer and a truck driver. He was always willing to lend his expertise and had many irons in the fire. William is survived by his wife, Carol; son, William; daughters, Laura and Brenda; grandchildren, Molly, Maegan, Claudia, and Stefan; great-grandchildren, Jenson and Scarlett on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Wilma; in-laws, Maurice and Delores; sisters, Carolyn and Susan; and his grandsons, Terry Lee and Max. Bill has been cremated, but those interested in celebrating his life are asked to join the family for a Memorial Dinner at the VFW Hall in Birch Run, MI on October 28, 2017, at 2 pm.
