Obituary of Peter W. Montney

Montney, Peter William Waterford, MI Peter, age 60, passed away Monday October 16, 2017 at the Toni and Trish Hospice House in Auburn, MI. He was born on June 4, 1957 in Pontiac, MI to the late Donald and Ruth Montney. Peter retired from General Motors. He loved to listen to country music, dance, and to wear his cowboy boots and cowboy hat "just to look cool". He is survived by his daughters, Kristen (James) Hilyard and Kayla (Casey) Montney; three grandchildren, Kelsee, James Jr. and Riley Hilyard; and two brothers, Bruce Montney and Henry "Hank" Montney. He was predeceased by his wife Leanora "Wendy" Montney, his sister Marjori Johnson and his brother Don Montney. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1067 S. Cass Lake Rd, Waterford, MI.
