Obituary of Louann L Selle

Louann Lois Selle, age 72, of Turner Michigan passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 after a long illness at McLaren Bay Region Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born August 3, 1945 in Linwood to the late Frank and Celina (Bruzewski) Kolbiaz. Louann was a cosmetologist for over 30 years and enjoyed the lifelong friendships she made in her beauty shop. She loved going to the casino and car shows with Ted, her husband of over 50 years, and spending time with her daughters and grandson. She is survived by her husband Ted, daughters Cheryl (Paul) Bischer and Lori Fullmer, grandson Daniel Fullmer, sister Rita (Edward) Periard, brothers Richard (Marilyn) Kolbiaz and Joe (Nancy) Kolbiaz, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Kolbiaz; brother, Paul Kolbiaz; and niece, Kristen Kamen (Gunnar) Ross. Honoring Louann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Au Gres MI. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. A luncheon will immediately follow in St. Mark's social hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org), or the Hospice organization of the donor's choice.
