Obituary of Donald A. VanOchten

Donald Anthony VanOchten Bay City, Michigan Don age, 69 passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Anthony & Betty (Daige) VanOchten. He graduated from Bay City Central in 1968. He then served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked in Saginaw as a florist for numerous years which he enjoyed very much. He is survived by his children Dean (Valarie) VanOchten, and Dawn VanOchten; grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina, Laroy, Katherine, Courtney, Parker and Jared; and two great grandchildren, Autumn and Johnathon. He is also survived by his two sisters and a brother; Sandy (Art) Hansen, Debbie (Jeanette Walters) VanOchten and Timothy (Louanna) VanOchten; numerous nieces, nephews and several friends. He was predeceased by his son Kurt VanOchten and his little sister Susan VanOchten. Per Don's request cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
