Obituary of Cora Ann McGee

McGee, Cora Ann Flint, MI Cora died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 after a long illness, age 66. She was born October 24, 1951 in Jackson Michigan to the late Ralph and Beatrice McGee. Cora had a knack for cooking, although some would say not well, a couple of her children are still using her recipes for Lumpia and Zucchini bread. Her camping skills were better and she will be remembered for all the camping trips up and down the west coast. The indoor water fights are still carried on by her eldest daughter and granddaughters. Cora will be remembered for her pride and her unlimited and unconditional love for each and every one of her grandchildren. They were truly the light of her life, from the time they were born until the time of her death. Surviving are her children, Donna (Tony) Lyden, Mike (Kim) Minthorn, Steve Minthorn, Victoria (Charles) Ferguson, Eva (Joe) Abraham; grandchildren, Nick (Jessica), Sarah (Tommy), Paul (Amber), Kaitlyn, Joe, Brody, Gradin, Ethan, Tarra, Jayna, Alexis and Reed; and great- granddaughter, Presley. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on November 17, 2017 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home / Cremation Society of Mid Michigan, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, Michigan. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 11 AM until service time.
