Obituary of Richard "Dick" Bruce Winquest

WINQUEST, SR., RICHARD B. "DICK" STANDISH, MICHIGAN Our most beloved Dad, Grandpa and Big Papa, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born in Pinconning, Michigan on September 7, 1936 to the late Edward and Carmen Pearl (Grantham) Winquest. He retired from General Motors in 1996, after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, raising farm animals, and always had a joke ready to tell. He was a member of AA for 35 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Shelley (McNeal) Winquest on August 2, 2006, his brothers: Edward (Buddy) Winquest, Robert (Bob) Winquest and sisters Charlotte Winquest, Dolores Walczak and Karen Brunett; along with his first wife, Loretta (Martin) Anderson. He was loved very much by his children, family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by his children, Rick (Ruth) Winquest, Dolores Winquest, Becky (Lou) Philopulos, Debbie WInquest, and Jim (Jamie) Winquest, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A celebration of Richard's life will be held November 16, 2017 from 2 PM– 7 PM at the Mt. Forest Township Hall, 1705 W. Cody Estey Rd. Pinconning MI. 48650.
