Obituary of Donna Lynne (Leland) Scheffel

Scheffel, Donna Lynne (Leland) Bay City, MI Donna, age 63, passed away November 9, 2017 at Brian's House surrounded by her family after a tough, hard fought battle with cancer. She was born October 8, 1954 in Bay City Michigan to the late James and Eva Mae Leland Sr.. Donna retired from St. Mary's, where she worked as a RN for more than 30 years. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her sense of humor, and her gift for helping others. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Richard; sons, Larry (Lori) Wenglikowski and Patrick (Sam) Stefaniak; and three stepsons, Zach (Priscilla), Elijah, and Caleb Scheffel. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Katie & Nolan Wenglikowski and Luke Scheffel; her mother-in-law, Lila Scheffel; a brother, Jim (Brenda) Leland Jr; two sisters, Susan (Eugene) Delong and Stephanie Leland; her sister-in-law, Mary Leland; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Izzy. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick. There will be a memorial service for Donna on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Lincoln Road Hall, 79 S. Lincoln Rd., Bay City MI from 12pm to 4pm for anyone wishing to join her family in celebrating her life.
